YOU CANNOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED THE GRANT IN THE PAST 5 YEARS. Please call COAHSI to find out if you are eligible.

This is a discipline specific $1,000 award for a public presentation during Summerfest 2010. This year COAHSI will be accepting applications in 2 categories: "Music" and "Public Art, Performance Art, and Film" (this category includes dance, theatre, and animation).

Excellence in the Arts will be the first COAHSI grant application submitted online. Access the application here.

Deadline: Friday, February 12, 5pm

Not applying? We'd LOVE for you to be a panelist! Panelists for EAA must have an expertise in either music, public art, or performance art (dance, theatre, animation). If you'd like to be a panelist, please sign up here!

ABC Grant Available NOW!

The next round of COAHSI ABC grants is here, for arts residencies in schools! The school is the official applicant, so if you are an artist, you must have a school already committed to the project. .

Talent throwdown in The Greene Space

Got Talent? This spring, WNYC will host a showdown series designed to bring out the best undiscovered performers from all five boroughs.

To participate, enter by February 12, 2010 at 11:59 PM at wnyc.org/thegreenespace/battle.
